About Our Animal Hospital

Catawba Heights Animal Hospital is proud to be privately and locally owned and operated.

Catawba Heights Animal Hospital, located in Belmont, NC, was started in 1983 by the founder, Dr. Gary White. Dr. Wallace purchased the practice from Dr. White in 2019.The practice has been a part of the community for almost 40 years!

Dr. Wallace graduated from Auburn University in 2006 and began practicing in the Atlanta area prior to moving to Belmont.  Dr. Wallace has worked in small animal medicine and emergency medicine in the Atlanta area since graduation. Her interests are soft and orthopedic surgery, along with ophthalmology. She is passionate about preventative care which includes yearly blood work, dental cleanings, heartworm prevention, deworming, flea tick prevention, and vaccinations. Keeping pets happy and healthy is her goal!
