Meet Our Team

Lisa was born and raised in Texas, spent many of her adult years in Alaska, and now calls the Charlotte area home. Lisa joined the Catawba Heights team in 2022 but has been working in veterinary medicine since 1996.

How long have you been working at Catawba Heights Animal Hospital? Hi, I'm Samantha, and I've been working at Catawba Heights Animal Hospital for two and a half wonderful years. I get to work with amazing people, an incredible doctor, and fantastic clients.

How long have you been working here? Hi, I'm Martha Johnson. I've been working here since 2019, and it's the best job ever. I love all the pets!

How long have you been working in veterinary medicine? Hi, I'm Julie, one of the assistants here at Catawba Heights Animal Hospital. I've been an assistant for about five years in total.

Julie grew up in Lincolnton and has been working in veterinary medicine for almost 3 years. She started at Catawba Heights in 2022 and enjoys helping our patients feel their best.

I started grooming dogs as soon as I graduated high school and have been doing all breed pet grooming for 30 years. I have worked at Claws and Paws for the last 18 years. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time with my 5 rescue dogs and devote much time to rescue work and fostering dogs.

How did you start working in veterinary medicine? I'm Maddie, one of the registered veterinary technicians here at Catawba Heights Animal Hospital. I have worked here since September 2021.

Kayla grew up in Bryson City and moved to Dallas during her teenage years. She graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2010 from Gaston College.

Ashley was born in Pennsylvania but grew up in the Charlotte, NC area. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Newbery College in 2005 and has been at Catawba Heights since 2020.

How did you start working at Catawba Heights? I'm Sarah, one of the registered veterinary technicians here. I graduated in 2021 with my veterinary medical technology degree and started my work-based learning here with Dr. Walls. I just never left!
